I'm at coffeezone in gadong at the moment and currently doing my work. Compiling all the works contributed by all group members. Minor alterations need to be done on a few tasks. Upon completion of the tasks, encountered few difficulties eventually i get it done :). I've decided to print the documentation by today and i'll do the print outs. Assignment will be completed this afternoon (almost there!). See you guys tomorrow. Tata~

Almost there.....

OK..I've done all my tasks last night..including the morange push email technology (quetion 7). I've completed the introduction for our assigment including the report to our assigment, blog report and reports for case study 1 and 2..im at coffee zone with Nasrul compiling our work including amal's work of course..Our last task is to design our cover page and later, Nasrul will be doing the appendix since we didnt receive the appendix that amal wanted to do and since we are compiling and printing our whole assigment work by today. Its been a stressful and tiring week, but overall..everyone is doing a good job :)..

Doing Work..

This morning im supposed to meet up with my other group members at ITB but for today, students were not allowed to enter the school since there are people using the place and preparing for the exhibition tomorrow. So, me and nasrul went to a hotspot area to access the internet. Amal email her final work to us and we check it out. We add some more points to her answer and for case study 2 question 4.

because..... im done! hehe. finally, its almost 6am now. & ive gotta be at school to meet the rest of the group in about 4 hours time.. ive done all four on Funambol, Emoze, GoodLink and Windows Mobile 6. i just hope what i did would be good enough. :) oh ya, im incharge of the appendix so i have to print this whole blog out and include it to our report but im not sure if the other group members are done posting yet or not, so i'll wait till our meeting and see if they wanna post a last entry of some sorts.. for now, im tired. gonna take a nap for awhile. laters..

confusing..

im confused.. just read more about the Push Email on the iPhone. & apparently it works only for Yahoo address, other than that like Gmail or Hotmail you gotta forward it to your Yahoo address then it'll come to your iPhone. if thats the case, then that doesnt really count as one of the Push Email products right??? i gotta find another Push Email product.. so ive decided to do on GoodLink instead now. ive read about it & they say its better than the BlackBerry. since they are—"strategic, technical and device-driven". and on Pocket PC, its actually a hardware that runs the Windows Mobile operating system.. so ive choose to concentrate on Windows Mobile 6..

pulling an all nighter..

which is the result of leaving things to the very last minute. hahah. which i do not mind actually, cause i work best when im pressured & i know im running out of time fast. im almost done with question 8.. almost cause ive done two, the Funambol & Emoze.. so there's the other two left, thats the iPhone and Pocket PC. seriously its kinda annoying when all the information i get on the products are all kinda the same. 150 might not seem like a lot of words but it is when you've run out of things to say. hahah. owell, back to work again. i am determined to get this all done before our group meeting later at 9.30am...

getting along

ive finally narrowed down the four products that im gonna be writing about... Funambol. Emoze. iPhone. Pocket PC. hopefully those four are exactly whats asked.. there a lot more others but im still doubting whether its the same or not.. i dont think i can do about the BlackBerry since it was in the question as the example given already. so to be on the safe side, im leaving that out. heh. the group's planning to meet up again tomorrow morning for the finale of our assignment. we're hoping all of this will be done so we can have it print off.. hopefully.. so thats my cue to go back to work now. no more slacking. heh. laters..

as the same like the other members, im currently at ITB doing the work aswell.. well, trying to is more like it. heh. gave Baz the answers to the questions that are assigned to me already but still isnt enough, for question 8.. still gotta write about 150 words on the four products but i cant find much to write about it when the info is kinda lacking & its all repetitive. heh. ah well, gonna try and look for some more info later tonight.

Case study 2...

For case study 2..I'll be doing it with Nasrul..I've read the article and question few weeks ago..Did come up with a few solutions and so did Nasrul..We'll probably finish it out by today also..Its been a very exhausting week..Hope to get good marks from the hard work that our group have contributed..

Continuing My Work......

Today me and my other group members meet up at ITB to combine our work.. There's still some work to be done but overall, it was ok. I've done my tasks but still feel like adding more information to it. So I searched for more information from the internet. Add a few points to my answer and diagrams related to the question that I am doing such as the Morange system Structure and wireless connection system. If all of our works are perfectly done and compiled together, by tomorrow, we'll be printing it out. See how things go today...hehee :)

Progress? Currently i'm doing my work now, task 6 which is going to be completed soon and task 5 need careful thoughts. Some alterations need to be done on task 6 so expecting slow progress ahead. Nevertheless, this assignment will be completed soon. Compiling our work maybe not going to be today and definitely it is going to be tomorrow. Enough said. Time to do my work now.

Yup, it's 3 in the morning alright. Currently, i'm figuring out on how to describe the job description for each individual with their respective profession related with networking. Gosh.. i'm so perplex right now. It's not easy as it sounds to describe someone's profession. Tried to find resources on the internet, it's pretty much useless. Better stop whining and do the work! Chop-Chop!

been a long day.. there's a lot of other Push Email products out there aside from the Blackberry. but im not sure if its the right one or if it counts the same as it. heh. i know the Mozilla ThunderBird is one and so is the iPhone. but does the Emoze count? hahah, im not sure. my head's so full with all these Push Email stuffs already. gonna try and search for some others again & gonna do a few & show the rest tomorrow & see how it goes.. for now, im gonna take a short break & get back to working on the assignment..

Today the progress so far..Nothing!! Hehe.. no worries fellas, tonight i'll cramp my head out to do all the tasks assigned to me. Long hours awaits between myself and laptop. Well, i have completed some of the tasks though. Tomorrow, hopefully, all of us completed all the tasks then we can compile our work. Ahh.. so pessimistic of me of the word 'hopefully'. We will complete this assignment!

progressing..

my last entry finally posted. no idea why but the last time i tried publishing it, blogger kept giving me error's & such. ohwell, the internet hasnt gotten any better since the last time i blogged. to even get this create new post window, i had to wait for about 10 minutes. seriously.

anyways, progress on my part of the report i realise has been kinda slow.. but ive been working on it. i got some good research material on the Push Email solutions. i have to read thru them and describe four of those solutions in terms of their implementation requirements and features. have to write 150 words for each product description so i'll get to work on that now. and i'll be working on it the whole day tomorrow which is a friday. the group have decided to meet up on saturday to compile all our work. so hopefully, i'll get this done before then..

12.27am thursday.. i'm staying up late doing my assignment (well not that im not used to it! hehe) Trouble with the internet lag at home, using dial-up is not so preferable but at least my work is done right? Did some research though and finally i got suitable resource for the diagram. Tomorrow (should i say later hehe) i'll do alteration on the diagram. Time for me to sleep, feeling drowsy (~_~). short update

been meaning to post an entry since just now. i dont know if its just me but the network seems to be kinda laggy. it'll be okay for awhile then after that it just lags.. kinda frustrating.. but owell, hopefully this will get thru.

im done with question 4. just stuck on question 8 now.. gonna research some more on the internet for other Push Email solutions. i'll also be working on the appendix part of our report so i'll fix this blog up a little..

Hey guys....Good to see that amal has approved my invitation and was able to sign in to our blog and do her posting. As confirmed, I'll be doing case study 1 question number 2,3 and 7. been a few days that ive been trying to get in here cause the other group members said they had invited me but i never got anything. not till Baz sent an invite to my gmail then i could so... its my first post here. im just testing to see if this gets through so if it does, thanks Baz. im finally in! heh. :)

soo.. our assignment.. im unsure as to what exactly we're suppose to blog about here but i know, we've divided the questions that we're gonna do on case study #1. i'll be doing question #4 & 8. was suppose to meet up with the other group members earlier this morning but didnt happen & so they'll be meeting up later this afternoon. but i wont be able to make it as i'll be busy with mom. anyways, deadline for our assignment is near.. less than a week even. yikes! so hopefully, we'll be able to get this done asap..

I am now at coffee bean gadong doing some more research regarding with the push email thingy.. Its currently crowded and noisy around here so its not quite that comfortable for me being here at the moment..This morning I went throught some short reading about 'Morange'..Its one of the push email technology kind of thing currently and commonly used in Brunei..Have to write a short essay of 300 words about it..Not much description yet.. I think i'l have to call a friend of mine who works at Telbru at the moment to explain to me more about 'Morange', since TelBru is the one who introduce 'Morange push email technology' in Brunei.Hmm.. got lots of work to do..huhuu...olla..olla....('o')

Just checking out the progression of this blog.. Nasrul posted so far... he's been helping me out with the blog by checking if the blog that I've created is ok and works perfectly..last week we discussed about the assignment given to us..I did some research and come up with some good resources..we also discussed about the allocation of task.. we're hoping that we could complete this assigment on time or before the due date which will be on the 28th january...well..wish us some luck and hope that everything turns out to be just the way we've planned it to be..
